Changes Made
After testing, the rubber O-rings began to come loose so we needed to re-secure them around the holes with the silicon adhesive. Besides that, there were no other changes that needed to be done after testing.
Summary
I am very happy with how our product turned out. I was very skeptical throughout testing that it would not pass, but our own product proved us wrong. The EZStrain was able to withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees fahrenheit and hold up to 12 quarts of water without leakage. The water right seal was the part that most worried Ryan and I but, our plan for the water tight seal was able to hold water and release for an efficient draining rate. Now that our prototype is done, we just need to wrap this project up with a strong a clear presentation to a panel of engineers.
