Toll Booth
Conclusion:
This project was called the toll booth project. We had to construct a machine that needed to imitate the motion of a working toll booth. We used vex equipment construct our toll booth machine. Once the machine was fully built with all the motors and other parts, we had to design a circuit on multi sim that needed to open and close the "toll booth" using the sensors and motors that were attached to the machine. Once we finished building the circuit and got it working, we had to upload the circuit to a working chip/wired board. After we had the circuit uploaded and the chip wired, we attached the the machine to the board and using the switches we were able to get the "toll booth" to open and close as it hit both of the sensors above the arm and below the arm. Not to many mistakes were made while making this project. Major components to this project we're building the "toll booth", building and wiring the circuit and then making it work. This project was different from the other ones we have done because instead of just making the circuit we had to implement it into a machine that we built and had to make it actually work. Over the year, reading schematics had gotten a lot easier compared to when we first started it. Next time I would trouble shoot more to work towards the final product.
